I first discovered Her Apparel when I cast for their 2015 New Zealand Fashion Week show. Being my first fashion week ever the idea of walking
down a runway in just my underwear was pretty intimidating. However I soon realized at the fitting how confident and empowered wearing
Her Apparel’s lingerie made me feel putting my nerves at ease. I completely underestimated the confidence a cool well fitting bra can give you.
The show was definitely a highlight of fashion week for me. With such a great group of girls the whole experience of walking in the show was so fun
and one I wish I could do again.
This year when I was asked to shoot the Her Apparel Basics campaign I was beyond excited.Growing up in a family of all girls it was awesome to
get to work with a brand that aims to build confidence and celebrate all women. Not to mention make some pretty beautiful lingerie.
I’m sure most girls can agree how annoying bra underwire can be when it loses shape or digs into your skin. This is why I love that Her Apparel
Bralettes are wireless making them exceptionally comfortable. I was happy to discover after wearing the Bonnie Bra all day I wasn’t left with any
red lines on my skin. Being such gorgeous bras I found they were so versatile in how you can wear them. I like to wear mine when I’m going out
especially under backless dresses or sheer shirts.
Now that summer is here I’m excited to be able to wear them under t-shirts and with my overalls. I will definitely be putting another set on my
birthday wish list this year because I don’t think you can ever have too many well fitting bras that make you feel strong.
